Appeal after fail-to-stop collision in Bedworth

POLICE investigating a fail-to-stop collision in Bedworth have appealed for witnesses to come forward.

Officers and ambulance staff were called to the junction of Dark Lane and Goodyers End Lane shortly after 8pm on Monday (November 27) where they found a man in his 60s who had suffered shoulder, back, hip and head injuries.

The man was taken to hospital. It is understood a vehicle had collided with the man before emergency services arrived, but the driver failed to stop at the scene. Officers are trying to establish the vehicle's make and model and are asking anyone who was in the area at the time to get in touch.
