Biker seriously injured after crash with Mercedes driver ‘which did not stop’

The motorcyclist was seriously injured (file photo). (Image: Getty) A motorcyclist has been seriously injured in a crash involving a Mercedes driver in Wiltshire. The incident took place on Friday, November 24, at 6.20pm on Devizes Road in Box near Corsham.

A motorcycle was in collision with a Mercedes car which police said left the scene and did not make themself known to police. The motorcyclist required hospital treatment after suffering serious injuries from the collision. Now the force is “urgently” searching for witnesses to the incident and has released a public appeal for more information.

A Wiltshire Police spokesperson said: “We are urgently appealing for potential witnesses following a road traffic collision that took place on Devizes Road in Box near Corsham.

“Witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage is asked to call us on 101 quoting log 54230124958.”
