Biker suffers ‘potentially life-threatening injuries’ in Middlesbrough crash as man, 25, arrested
A biker has suffered “potentially life-threatening injuries” in a crash. The collision happenedat around 5.23pm on Thursday, November 23[1], on Riverside Park Road in Middlesbrough[2], close to the Raleigh Court junction. It involved an Audi A4 and a Honda motorbike.
A 25-year-old man was arrested in connection with the incident. Cleveland Police is now appealing for information or footage as enquiries into a collision continue. A force spokesperson said: “The biker sustained potentially life-threatening injuries and remains receiving treatment in James Cook University Hospital[3].
A 25-year-old man was arrested in connection with the incident and he was interviewed then bailed with conditions whilst enquiries continue.” At the time, the road was closed between Ironmasters Road roundabout and the junction with Barton Road. Police asked people to avoid the area and the North East Ambulance Service confirmed that the air ambulance attended and one person was taken to hospital.
