BMW driver from Wilmslow clocked speeding near Manchester Airport
Muhammad Bilal Siddiqui, of Tabley Road, Handforth, Wilmslow, pleaded guilty to exceeding the 50mph speed limit at Chester Magistrates’ Court on November 20. The 26-year-old was caught on camera at Poynton driving a BMW on the A555 Manchester Airport Eastern Link Road in excess of the speed limit on June 21, this year. Siddiqui was fined GBP591 and ordered to pay GBP236 victim surcharge and GBP110 costs. His driving licence was endorsed with six points. Magistrates took his guilty plea into consideration when imposing the sentence.
The defendant was given until December 18 to pay the GBP939 court penalty.
