BREAKING Girlfriend’s heartbreaking message to ‘gorgeous’ teen found dead with three friends
The girlfriend of one of the teens who died in a crash along with three pals[1] during a camping trip has paid a heartbreaking tribute. A massive hunt was launched for Wilf Henderson, 18, Jevon Hirst, 16, Harvey Owen, 17, and Hugo Morris, 18, after they failed to return home from an overnight trip to the Snowdonia area. North Wales Police[2] said this afternoon their bodies were recovered from a silver Ford Fiesta which appeared to have left the road[3] on the A4085 at Garreg, near Tremadog. Wilf’s partner Maddi wrote: “I love you so much baby.
I’m going to miss you forever.” She went on to say that her boyfriend was the “sweetest and most loving boy I’ve ever known”, adding: “I hope you know how much I love you gorgeous.” Click here[4] to follow our live blog on the tragedy

Maddi’s mother Lisa Corfield said she was “absolutely heartbroken” for her daughter and “all of the boys family involved”. She continued in a Facebook[6] post, including a picture of the couple: “Wilf was such a lovely kind lad and treated Maddi in a way only a mother could hope her daughter b treated.” Lisa added: “We will all miss u dearly Wilf. thank u 4 bringing so much love and happiness in2 Maddi’s life and I promise to look after her 4 u.”
Superintendent Owain Llewelyn said in statement: “At present, this appears to have been a tragic accident, and our thoughts are with the family and friends of the four young men at this very difficult time.” He later told reporters outside police HQ in St Asaph: “Police officers attended and located a Ford Fiesta vehicle on its roof, partially submerged in water. Tragically, the bodies of four young males were recovered from within the vehicle.”

The force said inquiries were ongoing to establish the circumstances that led to the car leaving the road. It’s understood the group were not experienced campers and had only travelled with basic equipment.
The young men were from Shrewsbury, Shropshire.
Crystal Owen – Harvey’s mum – said she did not know the boys were going camping and would’ve warned them not to due to the weather.
Among scores of tributes on social media, a friend of one of the teenagers described him as “one in a million”.[7][8][9]
