Indore: Three men were arrested and 22 gram brown sugar worth Rs 2 lakh was seized from them on Wednesday."We received a tip-off that some people were on their way to Indore from Neemuch to deliver brown sugar in Pardeshipura, following which the accused Ashraf, a resident of Ambedkar colony in Neemuch, Firoz, a resident of Mulchand Marg and Shubham, a resident of Kulkarni Ka Bhatta in Pardeshipura were arrested in Nandigram ground by Crime Branch and booked under the relevant sections of NDPS act," additional DCP Rajesh Dandotiya said.Police had seized 22 gram brown sugar, three mobile phones and the vehicle used to commit the crime from their possession. It came to fore that the accused worked for a commission and were reporting to a bigger gang, police said. The accused were produced in the court and taken on police remand.
