Carlisle Police investigate shots fired report Wednesday

Carlisle Police reported they are investigating a shots fired incident at South Pitt Street and West Chapel Avenue about 10:10 p.m. Wednesday. Police said evidence of a shooting was discovered, and police were also notified that a vehicle was struck by a bullet.

Police said no injuries were immediately reported.

Police ask anyone with information to contact them at 717-243-5252.

The Gun Violence Archive classifies a mass shooting as a shooting in which four or more people are injured or killed.
