It is understood that he got on a train at Gloucester railway station at around 11.30am on Monday which was heading to Worcester Foregate Street station. Enquiries are ongoing to establish where he got off the train, and at this time it is believed that it may have been Tewkesbury or in Worcester. Officers searching for James are keen to hear from anyone who has seen him, and police have released a CCTV image which shows he was carrying a distinctive colourful backpack.

He is also wearing a black jacket, trainers and a top which had writing on it.

James is described as white, 5ft 8ins tall, of slim build and with short ginger hair.

Members of the public are asked to call 101 if you have information on James’s whereabouts, or 999 straight away if you see him, quoting incident 429 of 28 November.
