Crash near Volvo and MG car dealership in Botley leaves woman in hospital
A woman is receiving treatment in hospital after being hit by a car. The incident happened on Friday, November 17, 2023 in Botley, Oxford[1]. A pedestrian was hit by a Volvo XC90[2] at 5:05pm on Friday, November 17.
The pedestrian, a woman in her 60s, was struck on Cumnor Hill, opposite the Volvo and MG dealership. She suffered broken bones and cuts[3]. She remains in the John Radcliffe Hospital[4], where she is receiving treatment for her injuries.
No arrests have been made following the collision. Thames Valley Police[6] is now appealing for witnesses to the incident. Investigating officer PC Mark Jones, of the Roads Policing Unit, said: “I am appealing to anybody who witnessed this collision or who may have dash-cam footage of the incident to please get in touch with Thames Valley Police. “You can make a report online[7] or by calling 101, quoting reference 43230518143.
The driver of the Volvo was not injured and stopped at the scene and is assisting our investigation.”
