Cyclist ‘seriously injured’ in crash on main road in Grimsby
A cyclist has been left with “serious injuries” after a collision with a car on a main road in Grimsby. Officers were called to reports of an incident involving a car and bike on Scartho Road, near to the hospital, this morning. Arriving at the scene, they found that the cyclist required hospital treatment.
Humberside Police[1] were called to the scene at around 9.30am with the road closed for a short period of time while investigations were carried out. A spokesperson for Humberside Police said: “Officers were in attendance on Scartho Road in Grimsby[2] following reports of a road traffic collision between a cyclist and a car at around 9.30am this morning (Wednesday November 29). The cyclist has been taken to hospital to receive treatment for serious injuries, which are not thought to be life threatening.”
