Delays on Essex stretch of major motorway expected due to ’emergency repairs’
Delays – M25 between Waltham Cross and Waltham Abbey (Image: Stock/AA Traffic News/Canva) DRIVERS have been warned of delays as three out of four lanes on the M25 are closed. According to National Highways, this is due to a “failed bridge joint, which requires emergency repairs”.
As a result, “significant” delays are expected on the M25 clockwise, junction 25 Waltham Cross to junction 26 Waltham Abbey as the work to repair the joint will take “several hours”.
National Highways put out a post on X, formerly Twitter, at 5.37am.
