Delays on Glasgow M77 as rush-hour crash closes lane on busy motorway

UPDATE: All lanes are now running, with delays of up to 25 minutes. Motorists travelling along the busy M77[1] motorway are set to experience delays this morning (November 27) following a collision. Traffic Scotland reported the crash at around 7.35am.

The incident took place between J4 (Crookfur) and J3 (Nitshill). It is not yet known how many vehicles[2] are involved or if anyone has been injured.

Lane two is currently closed, with motorists advised to expect delays of approximately 15 minutes.

A Traffic Scotland spokesperson wrote on X: “M77 Northbound experiencing delays of approx.

It is understood that emergency services are at the scene.
