Desperate search to find deaf and nonverbal Norton pensioner ‘who may appear confused’
Police have launched a desperate search to find a deaf and nonverbal pensioner. Jeffrey King, 79, is missing from Norton[1] and have asked for anyone who may have seen him to come forward as a "matter of urgency". Mr King was captured on CCTV on Somerset Road at 11.30am and police believe may still be in the Norton area.
A Cleveland Police spokesperson described Jeffrey as 'deaf and nonverbal, and may appear confused'. He is described as white, 5'10", of medium build and having sparse hair. He is wearing a beige t-shirt, navy joggers and burgundy slippers. and glasses.
Police have asked anyone with information as to his whereabouts to come forward.

A force spokesperson said: "Anyone with information regarding Jeffrey's whereabouts is asked to contact Cleveland Police[2] as a matter of urgency on 101, quoting reference number 233062."
