Dover A2 crash: One person killed and three others injured in two car horror smash
A man in his 70s has died and three others are in hospital with injuries in a horror car crash near the port of Dover. A black VW and a purple Audi collided on the A2 Jubilee Way in Dover at around 9.40am today. The road has remained closed since the crash, in both directions, between the Duke of York’s roundabout and the Eastern Docks roundabout.
Officers are looking for witnesses who may have dashcam footage of the collision that could help with their investigation. A Kent Police[1] spokesman: “Witnesses are sought following a fatal collision in Dover. At around 9.40am, a black VW and a purple Audi collided on the A2 Jubilee Way near the Port of Dover.
“Emergency services attended and a man in his 70s was pronounced deceased at the scene. Three other people were taken to a London hospital, where they remain receiving treatment. “Kent Police’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit (SCIU) are carrying out enquiries into the incident and urge anyone who saw what happened or who has relevant dashcam footage to get in touch.”
