Driver and passenger arrested for no licence and immigration offences

This morning (November 27), officers in Ormskirk reported the driver in the Volkswagen GTI for summons as they had no proof of a licence and was not insured.

The car was seized and the passenger was arrested for immigration offences. A spokesperson for Lancashire Police said: “This GTI stopped in Ormskirk. “The vehicle was from Yorkshire, insurance was to Devon.

“The driver had no proof of a licence and was not on the insurance.

“Driver reported for summons, car seized and passenger was arrested for immigration offences.”
