East Lothian woman rushed to hospital and arrested after car crash on main road
A woman has been arrested following a road traffic smash in East Lothian. Police[1] officers were called to a one car crash on Dirleton Road, just outside of North Berwick[2] at around 7.15pm on Sunday evening. Paramedics also attended the incident with the woman being rushed to the Royal Infirmary[3] of Edinburgh for treatment.
After the 30-year-old was released from hospital, she was arrested and charged in connection with the incident. A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 7.15pm on Sunday, 19 November, 2023, officers were called to a report of a one-car crash on Dirleton Road, North Berwick.
“Emergency services attended and a 30-year-old woman was taken to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh for treatment.
She was later released from hospital, arrested and charged in connection with a road traffic offence.”
