Easterhouse road closed by police after serious crash as public urged to avoid area

The public is being urged to avoid an area of Easterhouse[1] following a serious crash. Police[2] have closed Westerhouse Road at its junction with Lochend Road due to a two vehicle crash. Emergency services are currently on the scene with the extent of injuries currently unknown.

A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: "Westerhouse Road is closed at the junction with Lochend Road in the Easterhouse area while emergency services attend a crash involving two vehicles.
