Flint man in serious condition after 3-vehicle crash in Tyrone Twp

TYRONE TWP.[1] -- A Flint[2] man was transported to the hospital in serious condition Thursday following a three-vehicle crash in Tyrone Township. Deputies with the Livingston County Sheriff[3]'s Office were dispatched shortly before 1 p.m. to the crash at the intersection of Runyan Lake Road and White Lake Road. A preliminary investigation showed a 2015 Chevrolet Cruze was traveling north on Runyan Lake Road when it failed to stop at the intersection at White Lake Road and was struck by a 2019 Chevrolet Trailblazer.

Police say the collision caused the Cruze to cross the center line into the other lane, where it was struck by a 2015 GMC Yukon. The driver of the Cruze, a 32-year-old Flint man, had to be extricated from the vehicle by fire personnel. He was transported to Genesys Hospital by Livingston County EMS in serious condition.
