Glasgow rush-hour crash sparks emergency response as car bumpers destroyed
Emergency services have scrambled to a street near the Scotstoun[1] area following a road traffic collision. Police[2] are at the scene on South Street, at the Thornwood roundabout, following the crash on Thursday (November 23) morning. A picture from the scene shows the front bumpers of two cars completely destroyed.
Debris is scattered around both vehicles, with the number plate on one of the cars hanging off.
At least two police vans and five officers are in attendance. It is not yet known what caused the crash or whether there have been any injuries.
An eyewitness told GlasgowLive: “The cars are a mess.” We have contacted Police Scotland and Scottish Ambulance Service for comment. This is a live breaking news story and we will bring you updates as we get them.
