Humberside Police hunting for Shane Wallace as man who appears to be him posts ‘good luck’
Humberside Police looking for Grimsby man Shane Wallace have released a photograph of him on Facebook, only for a man with the same username to comment “good luck” underneath the post. In the post shared this morning, police said they wanted to speak with Wallace in connection with an assault. It warned people to “not approach” him but instead report a sighting of him straight away on 101.

“Extensive enquiries are ongoing, and we are doing everything we can to find him.
If you see Shane please do not approach him, instead call us immediately on our non-emergency 101 line quoting 23*156776 or the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
Underneath the Facebook[4] post, a man with the username Shane Wallace and a profile photo bearing a resemblance to him commented: “Good luck”.
