I’m A Celebrity’s Josie Gibson dubbed a ‘national treasure’ by fans
Bristol’s Josie Gibson seems to have settled into life on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! quite well. The This Morning presenter has gained praise from fans online, with one calling her a “national treasure”.
In last night’s episode (November 20), the 38-year-old entertained viewers as she reacted to seeing Nigel Farage’s bum. After being exposed to his bare buttocks, Josie exclaimed: “Fricking hell!”[1] Speaking to the Bush Telegraph later that day, Josie said: “I wasn’t expecting to see Nigel Farage’s bottom so soon.
But, I’ve seen worse.” It certainly brought a smile to the faces of fans at home and tonight she has gained further plaudits. Viewers have taken to X (formerly known as Twitter[3]) to complement the former Brimsham Green School pupil.

Josie was previously hailed as a “guardian angel[4]” by Made in Chelsea star Ashley James. It was revealed that the Bristolian supported her through a very tricky time in her life. Ashley said: “Having a break whilst I’m away but I just had to come on here and wish Josie Gibson so much luck for the jungle.”
“She deserves to be a queen, I’m so happy for everything coming Josie’s way. Lots of you won’t know but Josie was my literal guardian angel after a bad breakup almost 10 years ago.” She continued: “I’d only met her twice but after reading my relationship was over online she called me to check in.
I was a mess and had no money etc – within 10 minutes Josie was in a van one the way from Bristol to pick me and all my possessions up.
“I lived with her for five months and she helped me pick my life back up and helped me build my self esteem.
We had a lot of fun together.”
