Leicester: Male found with serious injuries in city street
Police said Granby Street would remain closed until further notice A busy road in Leicester city centre has been cordoned off after a male was found with "serious injuries". Leicestershire Police said officers were called to Granby Street at 17:27 GMT on Wednesday following an "incident".
Officers found the injured male and he has been taken to hospital for treatment. The force said the road would remain closed until further notice and told motorists to use alternative routes. A number of other roads have also been closed including Dover Street and Albion Street.
At least six police cars were spotted at the scene
