'Like butter wouldn't melt...': Police horses go sightseeing after escaping in Bucks (Image: Thames Valley Police) Two police horses escaped their paddock to go 'sightseeing' in Buckinghamshire before being rounded up by officers. Spice, a 29-year-old horse from Thames Valley Police's Mounted Section took a younger recruit, Effie, on a "sightseeing tour" around Milton Keynes yesterday (November 5) after escaping from their paddock near the Bucks city.

Police officers based in Milton Keynes were helped by Spice and Effie's owner to find and bring them home on the day of their escape.

A spokesperson for the force joked that while it looked like "butter wouldn't melt" in the two horses' mouths, they were actually a couple of "rascals".

Where do you think they went on their whistle-stop tour?
