Live: A361 in Somerset closed after crash
The A361 at Leighton is currently shut in both directions following a crash east of Shepton Mallet. According to roads traffic monitoring[1] service Inrix, the busy A-road is closed due to the incident between Chovel Lane and East Cranmore turn off. A closure was put in place at 6.30pm.
Inrix reports: “A361 in both directions closed, delays due to accident between Chovel Lane (Leighton) and East Cranmore turn off (East Cranmore). The road has closed around 18:30.” It is not clear how many vehicles were involved or whether anybody has been injured in the crash.
