Live: ‘Long delays’ in Horfield after ‘car and ambulance’ crash

Drivers faced long delays in Horfield[1] earlier this afternoon after a crash reportedly involving a car and an ambulance. Muller Road was blocked in both directions following the collision, which was reported at around 12.20pm today (November 29). TravelWest said in a post on X – formerly known as Twitter – that the collision happened near the junction with Filton Avenue.

Drivers were told to expect long delays. “Muller Rd/Filton Ave Junction is blocked due to RTC (road traffic collision). Expect Long Delays.

Use Alternative Routes if possible,” the post said. Traffic[2] monitoring site Inrix added: “Muller Road in both directions blocked, delays due to accident, a car and an ambulance involved near The Church.” In an update at around 3pm, both Inrix and TravelWest confirmed the incident had cleared.
