LIVE: M1 reopens after multi-vehicle crash but delays still expected

Part of the M1 was closed on Tuesday morning after a multi-vehicle crash. The motorway eastbound between Lurgan[1] and Moira was closed on November 28. It has now reopened.

Drivers were asked to avoid the area. In an update, a PSNI spokesperson said: “The M1 has now fully re-opened following an earlier road traffic collision. Delays are still to be expected.”

A PSNI spokesperson had earlier said: “The M1 Eastbound between Lurgan and Moira is currently closed due to a multi-vehicle road traffic collision.

“Road users are asked to avoid the area if possible.”
