Live M5 updates: All traffic in Somerset stopped by crash near Weston-super-Mare
There were long delays on the M5 following a crash involving two vehicles in Somerset this morning (November 28). According to traffic monitoring site Inrix, the collision took place heading northbound towards Bristol. Traffic was initially held between junction 21 for Weston-super-Mare and junction 20 for Clevedon.
All traffic was released and congestion eased by 8.40am. Avon and Somerset Police said: “We were called at around 7am today (Tuesday 28 November) following reports of a two-vehicle collision on the M5 northbound between Junction 21 (Weston-super-Mare) and Junction 20 (Clevedon). “We believe no-one sustained any injuries and traffic was temporarily held while vehicles were moved.”
