Live: Man rushed to hospital after crash closes road in Cheltenham

A man was taken to hospital following a crash in Cheltenham[1] this afternoon (November 22). Gloucestershire Police[2] closed Brooklyn Road and Orchard Way as a result. The road reopened at around 7.40pm. Traffic monitoring site Inrix says: “Brooklyn Road in both directions re-opened, delays cleared, accident cleared from Arle Road to Orchard Way / Alstone Lane.”

Cheltenham Police said in a post on X (formerly known as Twitter) at 4.21pm: “We’ve closed the Brooklyn Road & Orchard Way crossroad while officers are in attendance at a collision. A man has been taken to hospital for assessment. “The closures may cause an impact for the next couple of hours with motorists asked to find alternative routes.”
