Live updates as road closed after major crash

A road is closed after a crash involving five vehicles. Aintree Lane in Fazakerely[1] is closed at the junction with Longmoor Lane this afternoon due to the crash. Merseyside Police[2] were called to the scene at 12.53pm on Saturday (November 25). A force spokesperson said the incident involved five vehicles but there have been no injuries reported at this time.

The road is closed as the vehicles involved have to be removed.
