LIVE – Urgent search for missing Devon teenage girl

An urgent plea has been issued by a distraught mum to help find her teenage daughter who has been missing for more than 24 hours. She was last seen outside her school in Plymouth on Friday. Charlotte Foster, 14, was last seen outside her school by a friend at around 1pm on Friday, November 24, in the Ernsettle area of the city..

She had been due to go home that afternoon but was reported missing to Devon & Cornwall Police[1] when she didn’t return home that evening. The teenager is about 5ft4 tall with long, black, curly hair and was last seen wearing white t-shirt, black leggings, black and white high-top shoes, and a long-sleeved Nike top. However, it’s thought she may have since changed her clothes to a cream/white leggings and white, teddy fleece jacket.

Charlotte’s mum Larissa Clowes says she has spent “hours and hours and hours” searching for her missing daughter. She has said it is out of character for Charlotte to go missing for this long as she’s not allowed to stay out late without permission. Larissa said: “She was in a white t-shirt, black leggings, black and white high-tops and a black, sports, long-sleeved, Nike gym top.

She’s about 5ft4, just past shoulder length hair which is black and curly. “The last person that saw her was her friend Emily. I was giving her a little bit of time to come home from school and she didn’t come home so I’ve been out looking for her.

“She’s changed her clothes since then. She’s wearing cream/white leggings and white, teddy fleece jacket.” “She’s been out a bit later before but not like this.

It’s out of character for her. She’s not allowed to stay out late without my permission. “I’ve been to people’s houses and I’ve been driving round for hours and hours and hours.

Police are going to a few of her friends’ houses to make sure she’s not there.”

Live updates on the search will appear in the live blog below:
