M6 crash in Stoke-on-Trent sparks long delays as three lanes close

Incident cleared

The lorry and car involved in the earlier collision that saw six miles of congestion on the M6 have both been cleared. Delays remain, according to National Highways. On X, formerly Twitter, National Highways said: “This incident is now clear, and all lanes have re-opened on the #M6 southbound in #Staffordshire between J15 (#StokeOnTrent) and J14 (#Stafford).

“Delays remain in the area but should now start to ease.

Thanks for your patience this afternoon.”
