Major road in West Lothian closed after collision as drivers warned of delays

A road in West Lothian[1] has been closed following a collision. The off slip road junction in Bathgate heading onto the M8 is closed[2] westbound following a collision. Drivers are being warned to expect delays as traffic is slow on approach.

Taking to Twitter, Traffic Scotland wrote: “Due to a collision, the M8 Junction 3A off-slip is CLOSED Westbound. Traffic is slowing on approach. Delays are building to approach.”

It is unknown if there are any injuries. Police Scotland have been contacted for comment. We’ll bring you more on this breaking news story as it happens.
