Man, 46, dies after single-vehicle crash on A283 in Shoreham

A man has died after a crash near Shoreham. The crash took place on the A283 on Monday evening (November 20). The crash is thought to have happened at around 9.45pm and involved a single vehicle.

A 46-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene of the collision. His next of kin have been informed and are being supported by officers. Three other men, aged 18, 19 and 21, sustained minor injuries in the crash and are receiving treatment in hospital.

Pictures from the scene show the presence of emergency responders at the scene. The A283 was closed and an air ambulance was called to the incident.

Sussex Police is issuing a witness appeal in relation to the crash. Officers wish to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the crash or captured footage of it.
