A man has been charged following a two-vehicle crash on the A9’s Tain bypass. The two vehicles collided at the Morangie Road junction at around 6.05pm on Tuesday. A police spokesman said: “Around 6.05pm on Tuesday officers were called to reports of a two vehicle crash in the Morangie Road area of the A9, Tain.

“A 25-year-old man was charged in connection with a road traffic offence.

A report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.”
