Man dies after medical incident on Southampton road
Police were called to Redbridge Hill just before 5.30pm on Tuesday. It followed reports from the ambulance service of a medical episode at the junction with Romsey[1] Road. Officers attended the scene, where a man in his 60s from Southampton had sadly died.
His family have been notified. On Tuesday afternoon, police also attended a separate medical incident in Totton[2] which also resulted in the death of a man in his 60s. This happened in Spicers Hill before 4.30pm.
The death is not being treated as suspicious and the man’s family have been informed.
