Man seriously injured after being hit by vehicle in Eastbourne
A man has been seriously injured after being hit by a vehicle in Eastbourne[1] last month (October 28). The man, 58, was hit by a vehicle at around 6.30pm that evening on Seaside. The victim suffered serious injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment.
The vehicle did not stop and instead continued to drive off on Seaside, Sussex Police have reported. An appeal for information and witnesses has now been launched. A spokesperson for Sussex Police[2] said: “Police are appealing for witnesses following a serious injury collision in Eastbourne.”
They continued: “A 58-year-old man was hit by a vehicle which continued to drive off on Seaside on 28 October around 6.30pm. The victim suffered serious injuries and was taken to hospital. “If you have any information, or witnessed the incident, contact police online[4] or call 101 quoting serial 1065 of 28/10.”
