Mobile speed cameras in Hull and East Yorkshire November 12-19

Hessle and the M62 will be among locations visited by mobile speed camera vans in the coming days. The busy Boothferry Road in Hessle will be targeted by enforcement officers, while speeds will also be checked on the M62 between junctions 37 (Howden) and 38 (North Cave). The major A1079 route, at Shiptonthorpe, will also see enforcement.

Drivers can see where the mobile cameras are likely to be situated through the daily enforcement schedule on the Safer Roads Humber website[1]. However, not all locations are listed on the schedule, so motorists should take care and exercise caution when driving in the region. Mobile speed cameras will be in the following locations in Hull and East Yorkshire areas:

  • Sunday, November 12 – Sites across the region
  • Monday, November 13 – A1079 Shiptonthorpe
  • Tuesday, November 14 – M62 between junctions 37 and 38
  • Wednesday, November 15 – Market Weighton Road/Cliffe Road, North Cliffe, South Cliffe
  • Thursday, November 16 – A1105 Boothferry Road, Hessle
  • Friday, November 17 – B1251 Fimber
  • Saturday, November 18 – Sites across the region
  • Sunday, November 19 – Sites across the region
  • For those crossing the Humber Bridge to the South Bank, mobile cameras will be in the following locations:

  • Sunday, November 12 – Sites across the region
  • Monday, November 13 – West End Road, Epworth
  • Tuesday, November 14 – Cromwell Road, Grimsby
  • Wednesday, November 15 – Doncaster Road Hill, Scunthorpe
  • Thursday, November 16 – M180 between B1206 overbridge and New River Ancholme
  • Friday, November 17 – B1210 Stallingborough Road/Great Coates Road, Healing
  • Saturday, November 18 – Sites across the region
  • Sunday, November 19 – Sites across the region
  • Humberside Police, in partnership with Safer Roads Humber, will be at several other sites throughout the week that are not listed above.
