Motorcyclist seriously injured in crash

A motorcyclist has been taken to hospital after a crash on Monday, police have said.

Officers attended the incident on Western Terrace, Falmouth, at about 17:25 BST after reports of a collision between a car and a motorcycle.

The man on the motorcycle sustained a serious leg injury and was taken to the Royal Cornwall Hospital in Truro.

The road was closed and reopened again at about 19:10 on Monday.
