Multiple children taken to Edinburgh hospital after horror crash on major road
Multiple children have been taken to an Edinburgh hospital[1] after a three-car collision on a major road[2] just outside the city. Police were called to the smash at around 3pm on Wednesday, November 8, on the M90 near Kirkliston as terrifying images from the scene show one car on its side next to the central reservation. A huge response from the emergency services was also spotted at the scene with multiple police cars and ambulances.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland[3] confirmed 'a number' of children were taken to hospital as a precaution.
They were transported to the Royal Hospital for Children and Young People as recovery was arranged for all vehicles before the road reopened over an hour and a half later. Multiple appliances from the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service also attended the horror crash as no further details on the exact number of casualties or their ages have been released by police.
