Pedestrian badly injured in serious crash with vehicle in city

Police say a road in Exeter will remain shut ‘until further notice’ following a potentially serious collision involving a pedestrian. Officers were called to the incident on Market Street shortly before 5pm today (November 28).[1] A road closure has been put in place while emergency services deal with the scene.

Devon County Council has urged drivers to avoid the area. Devon and Cornwall Police say one person is receiving treatment for injuries. A spokesperson for the force said: “We were called shortly after 4.50pm this afternoon.

One person is receiving treatment for injuries.

The road will remain closed until further notice.”
