Pensioner loses £200 and personal belongings in robbery

The man was withdrawing cash from the ATM outside Lloyds Bank on Victoria Road at around 1.45pm on Wednesday, November 22, when he was robbed. Just when he went to place the money into his rucksack, a man approached him from behind and took his bag and wallet. The man then fled the scene, in the direction of Gordon Road before turning down an alleyway.

Police are now appealing for witnesses and information following the reported incident.
