Police statement on Lupton Street cordon as shots fired at Leeds home

West Yorkshire Police[1] have released a statement after gunshots were fired at a property on Lupton Street in Hunslet. Officers were called to a reported burglary at the address shortly after 9.30am on Sunday, November 26. West Yorkshire Police have been spotted at the scene of the burglary this morning and a police cordon remains in place with multiple officers in attendance.

In a statement, West Yorkshire Police said: “Police are investigating a firearms discharge at a property on Lupton Street, Hunslet, Leeds. Officers were called to a reported burglary at the address shortly after 9:30am yesterday (26/11). “Investigations are ongoing to determine what happened and a scene is currently in place.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact West Yorkshire Police by calling 101… quoting reference 404 of 26/11.”
