A Range Rover crashed into the wall of a hospital causing a critical incident to be declared[1].

Video taken at the Royal Hampshire County Hospital in Winchester shows the maroon vehicle embedded in the wall of a power unit in the hospital’s level six car park.

The power supply to parts of the site were affected by the incident at about 16:00 GMT on Thursday.

In a statement, the hospital said backup generators were being used to “keep areas operating safely”.

Hampshire Constabulary was called to the scene, one person in the vehicle sustained minor injuries and no-one has been arrested.
