‘Serious’ two-car crash closes busy Main Road at Dibden

POLICE dealing with a “serious” two-vehicle crash on a busy road at Dibden are urging motorists to avoid the area. The alarm was raised shortly after 7.30am this morning (Wednesday), with reports the cars collided on Main Road.

No details about casualties have yet been released. The route is currently closed in both directions, between the A326 Marchwood bypass and Southampton Road.

A Hampshire police spokesperson said: “We were called at 7.41am today to a serious collision involving two cars on Maid Road in Dibden.

“Officers are currently in attendance and road closures are in place.

We ask that people avoid the area while we deal with this incident.

“We will provide further details as soon as we can.”
