A “significant” police presence will remain in a residential area of Swindon as investigations into a stabbing and bike theft continue. At around 6.50pm on Thursday evening (November 25), officers responded following reports of a serious assault on a man during which he also had his bicycle stolen in Malmesbury Gardens.[1][2] The man in his 20s suffered knife injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment. We treat incidents like this with the utmost seriousness and we are pursuing multiple lines of enquiry. “A significant policing presence will remain in the area while we conduct our investigation.
