Single-engine plane crashes in parking lot in Plano, Texas
A small single-engine aircraft crashed in Plano, Texas[1], near a populated area. A Plano Police[2] Department Public Information Office spokeswoman confirmed to the Washington Examiner that a plane crashed and one other vehicle was damaged. She added that the PPD won’t confirm anything further until Federal Aviation Administration[3] personnel arrive.

A video posted on social media appeared to show the immediate aftermath of the crash, with the blazing wreckage of the craft visible. Several bystanders were gathered around the crash site, which was in a parking lot in front of a box store.
Another video showed firefighters fighting the flames and clearly showed a blazing car next to the wreckage.
It is not yet known whether there were any casualties.
