Surrey Police officer punched and kicked in Redhill

A man who punched and kicked a Surrey Police[1] officer has pled guilty to the assault of an emergency worker in court. Esteban Jalandoni, 49, of Redhill[2], appeared before Staines[3] Magistrates Court on November 17. On September 2, Jalandoni punched and kicked the police officer, who had been called to a disturbance at a residential address in Redhill.

The officer was left shaken but, fortunately, he was not injured.

The court outcome requires Jalandoni to undertake unpaid work and pay compensation to the police officer.
