More flood alerts have been issued for Norfolk (Image: Newsquest) New flood warnings have been issued in Norfolk due to high tides. The Environment Agency has issued new alerts for the Hunstanton coast, the River Waveney and the River Yare.

It comes after a flood alert for the Rivers Bure, Ant and Thurne was issued on Wednesday and remains in place this afternoon.[1]

There are also two warnings in place for low-lying properties along the River Waveney and riverside properties along the River Yare including those in Cantley, Brundall and Reedham.

Large waves and sea spray are expected to affect the seafront at Hunstanton overnight and into the early hours of Friday morning and floodgates will be closed.
