Traffic chaos after truck and car crash on Sydney motorway

A crash between a car and a truck has caused traffic to bank up on a major motorway in Sydney's west[1].

Emergency services were called to The Horsley Dr on the M7 at Cecil Hills after the accident, which happened about 1.45pm on Tuesday.

A car flipped on its roof, NSW Ambulance said.

Three people were treated at the scene by paramedics.

Of those, a man aged in his 70s was taken to Liverpool Hospital with a leg injury.

Lanes on the M7 that had been closed due to the crash have since reopened.

"Traffic is heavy from the M4 so continue to allow plenty of extra travel time," Live Traffic Sydney said.
