Tragedy as M54 driver dies in Staffordshire lorry crash
A driver has died in an M54 crash through Staffordshire. West Midlands Ambulance Service[1] was called to the Brewood section of the motorway – between junctions two and three – last night. It followed a collision between a car and a lorry. But there was nothing paramedics could do and the car driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
The alarm was raised at 6.31pm on Monday, November 6. Two ambulances, two paramedic officers, and two critical care cars were sent to the crash scene. An ambulance service spokesman said: “Upon arrival we found a man who was the driver of the car.
Unfortunately, it was clear that nothing could be done to save him and he was confirmed deceased at the scene. No further patients required treatment.” StokeonTrentLive has approached Staffordshire Police[2] for a statement regarding the fatal crash.
Any witnesses should call the police on 101.
